ALL ELECTRIC POWER TO THE P-PLATES! And so it came to pass that on the 6th day of the 5th month of the year of our lord 2005, I, Owen of Top didst receive the enigmatic and mysterious objects, the P-Plates. And there was much rejoicing. In the interim period between purchasing Egbert and getting licensed to drive him much has occurred. For a start, my brothers fleet of 626s have entered a state of disassembly necessary for the creation of a reconditioned and rebuilt engine to go in the best of them. Therefore, Egbert has not lain fallow, rather he has entered the service of my brother and his Faience (her Accord, which bears the number 666 on it's plates, is possessed of Satan and falls apart all the time). Further customizations have occurred. First off, the stock stereo equipment proved impossible to repair (some of the rubber rollers in the tape deck had perished, coating much of the workings with melted rubber), so the two piece stock unit has been replaced by an old radio/cassette head unit which came in a friend's Silvia when it has imported. This left a gaping hole where the tape deck was, so it's been filled with custom gauges! Finally! My first rice mod! Other modification include the purchasing of a full set of matching seat covers and roof racks, some tuning work, and new electronic ignition. |
