KAISER FT-17

The Fluff: Developed in 2239 during the PGL invasion of Koenig, capital world of the KKR, the Kaiser FT-17 was the first 'mech' developed by any of the human empires. Originally designed as a way to give the infantry considerably more power, the FT-17 was considerably more maneuverable and versatile than any of the tracked or wheeled fighting vehicles then in use. Although a far from perfect vehicle, the FT-17 was cheap and simple enough to be produced in huge numbers. It's deployment slowed, and finally halted the PGL's advance, giving it's creator, Freidrich Tank time to develop the more powerful and more effective FT-18 ValkKaiser.

THE MODEL:

The model of the Kaiser FT-17 is currently in construction. It's being kit-bashed out of a Renault FT-17 light tank, and will be displayed in a small diorama along side a patrol of Eureka Miniature's Stargrunt Neu-Swabian Jaegers.
