WAAAGH! MAGAKAN
HYBRID ORKY ARMY

Owning a Squiggoth can do strange and terrible thighs to a man. Mostly it makes him decide to build a Feral ork army to go with it. But, being a strange (and skint) man, I decided on a slightly more exotic course of action. A Hybrid Ork Army. What is a Hybrid Ork Army I hear you cry? Well, basically, it means I make troops which will look at home in either a Common Ork army (like the one in the Codex) or a Feral ork army. Naturally, this means I end up with a fairly primitive looking bunch of orks. But that's okay.
Basically, Waaagh Magakan is half way between being a Feral ork army, and a normal ork army. They've been living on backwoods worlds, their Meks have gotten slightly confused, they've forgotten some of their technological know-wots. They do remember how to make fairly crazy vehicles, but they also have a healthy respect for their Squiggoths. So depending on how I feel, I can field a Traditional ork force with Truks, buggies and Dreads, or I can field the Old Skool Orks, with their Squiggoths and Boars and so forth.
Being fairly primitive a superstitions by nature, the Orks of Klan Magakan KNOW that blue is a lucky color. They also KNOW that red ones go faster. So they all wear Blue war paint for luck, but they still paint their vehicles red. Admittedly, they add a bit of Blue for luck, but not to much- it might slow them down!
